Lunch Lecture: The environment from the perspective of a Ministry of Foreign Affairs
We are pleased to welcome Julien Beuken from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as our next Lunch Lecture host. He will give us an overview of environmental issues from the per
spective of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Julien Beuken works for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. As of this summer he is part of the Sub Sahara Africa Department, where he focuses on Ethiopia. The past four years he worked within the Multilateral Organisations and Human Rights Department, focusing mainly on the UN Development Programme and the UN Environment Programme. Julien completed a Master in Development Practice (MSc) from Trinity College Dublin/University College Dublin and lives in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
