Lunch Lecture
On the occasion of December 1st Iceland’s Sovereignty Day, The University Centre of the Westfjords and Guðni Th. Jóhannesson, Professor and President of Iceland from 2016 to 2024, are now joining forces to breathe new life into this fine tradition. 
Guðni Th. Jóhannesson is a Professor of History and ideally suited to remind us of the significance of this day and interpret its meaning in a contemporary context.
The talk will be held in english at 13:30
At 15:00 there will be a HÚLLUMHÆ celebration in the cafeteria! Light refreshments will be served.
