Join us this Thursday, July 10th, for student research presentations by this year’s SIT (School for International Training) summer group. The topics range from renewable energy and technology to environmental impacts, policy, and even Icelandic mythology.
The students have spent two weeks in the Westfjords engaging with local companies, sites, and individuals—including visits to Orkubú Vestfjarða, Kerecis, Saltverk, and more. Many of them have interviewed Icelanders as part of their research and have been working hard to finalise their projects.
The presentations will take place in classroom 4 from 9:00–12:30 and 13:30–16:30. Each talk is 10 minutes long with a short Q&A. Everyone is welcome to drop in and listen.
