Theater life in the Westfjords is very lively these days. The annual theater festival Act Alone, and numerous theatrical productions attest to that fact.

 

During the Friday Lunch lecture, October 9, the Westfjords´ Theater Year 2009-2010 will be introduced. The upcoming production year is very exciting, eight new works will be premiered, some of them specifically about the Westfjords. Also several productions from last year will be performed again. Elfar Logi Hannesson, actor and one of the powerhouses of theater life in the Westfjords, will introduce the theater year and answer questions. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the productions that will be staged this coming winter and to share your thoughts about possible work to be produced in the coming year.

 

The talk begins at 12.10, in the cafeteria of the University Centre. The talk is in Icelandic and everyone is welcome.
