The Symposium on Icelandic Social Sciences held at the University Centre of the Westfjords last Friday and Saturday was a great success. Twelve seminars with fifty lectures were on the Symposium agenda and participants and lecturers came from most of the Icelandic universities and other research institutions. Around eighty participants attended the symposium that was very well received despite some adjustments were needed due to flight postponements.
