Two scholars from the University of Washington, and members of the CMM faculty, Nadine Fabbi, instructor of the course Maritime Transport, and Vincent Gallucci, discussed Arctic Marine Security and safety of seafarers. And finally Sigurður Jónsson, from Borea Adventures, an adventure travel agency in Ísafjörður, talked about his own experience of the regulatory framework in different regions of the world, e.g. north and south Polar Regions.

After these presentations some lively discussions took place on the different aspects and topics raised in the talks. The University Centre would like to thank the institutions and individuals that took part in the seminar. This sort of insight into various aspects that concern the coast and sea is important to our students and staff members.
