Students found themselves in diverse and challenging roles; those from various interested parties, and those on the city council's committee, all offering different viewpoints on Gold Island, and the development of these new areas. As you might expect, conflicts would be rife in such meetings, but these were students in their 2nd semester of the master's programme in Coastal and Marine Management, and the discussions were handled in a considerate and respectful manner!
