Parliamentary election 2013 and the upcoming election season
In this Friday's Lunch Lecture, Ólafur Þ. Harðarson, Dean of the school of Social Science at the University of Iceland, will discuss the status and prospects of Icelandic politics in the upcoming election season in the light of research on Icelandic voters over the last 30 years.
Ólafur has since 1983 performed the Icelandic election study, which is a comprehensive study on questions about elections and political behavior of the Icelandic voters.
Ólafur Th. Harðarson is a Professor of Political Science and Dean of the School of Social Sciences at the University of Iceland. He received a BA degree from the University of Iceland in 1977, master's degree in political science from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1979 and a doctorate from the same university in 1994.
