This week has been very eventful at the University Centre. On Wednesday, Steinunn Gyðu- og Guðjónsdóttir, gave an interesting lecture on UNIFEM and yesterday we celebrated the first oral master's thesis defense at the University Centre when Bjarni M. Jónsson defended his thesis entitled Harnessing Tidal Energy in the Westfjords.
Because of these two events the Lunch Lecture will take a break this week, but will return next week.
