The new year starts with a new face in UW's reception: Þórdís Lilja Jensdóttir had her first working day on Monday.

Þórdís Lilja is biomedical scientist, but she has also studied mass communications and worked with writing articles, desktop publishing and redaction of newsletters and journals.

The receptionists are formally UW-staff, but are working for all institutions in the building.
While welcoming the new colleague, UW wants to thank her predecessor, Nikolína Beck Þorvaldsdóttir, for her work at the University Centre and wish her good luck in her new job.
