Lunch Lecture: Innovation in the West Fjords: Kerecis

In this Friday lunch Lecture, September 30, Dóra Hlín Gísladóttir will present the innovation company Kerecis, that develops, manufactures and markets medical devices under the brand names MariGen™ and MariCell™. Both products contain collagen and Omega3 oils derived from fish skin, and are used to treat damaged skin and tissue.

Dóra Hlín is the R&D manager of Kerecis. She has a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Swedish Royal Institute of Technology in Stokkholm from 2007 and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iceland, obtained in 2004.

The talk will be held in the University Centre cafeteria, it begins at 12.10 and is open to the public. The talk will be in Icelandic.
