In this Friday Lunch Lecture, November 26, Finnbogi Hermannsson will present two new books he is getting published. In one book, Finnbogi focuses on the situation of women in the Westfjords, while the other book discusses different themes that concern a radar station that was operated on top of the Mount Straumnes in the WestFjords region.

After working as a reporter for the Ísafjörður branch of the Icelandic Broadcasting Corporation for many years, Finnbogi has now retired and spends much of his time doing research and writing.

The talk is open to the public and will be held in the University Centre cafeteria, beginning at 12.10. The talk will be in Icelandic.
