During the weekend January 22 to 24 an intensive class for distance learning students at the Preparatory Program at the Reykjavík University was held in the University Centre. At this intensive class distance learning students get a jump start in their studies and a chance to meet their instructors and fellow students face to face.

 

The University Centre of the Westfjords has taught all distance learning courses for students enrolled in the first year of the Preparatory Program at Reykjavík University the past two years and will continue to do so this year. All in all there are 24 students enrolled in the first year of the Preparatory Program through distance learning. After completing the first year through distance learning at the University Centre, students will continue their studies in the Preparatory Program at the Reykjavík University.
