Getting Published! - RECORDING NOW ACCESSIBLE

Last December 8, an introduction to "Getting Published" was given by Professor Mike Phillips, who has published approximately 100 academic outputs. These include books, book chapters, journal articles and reports. In his presentation, Mike presented answers to the why, what, when and how questions frequently asked with respect to publishing research. Now you can access UW's sound and slide recording of the presentation.

Thursday, December 8, at 15:00, an introduction to "Getting Published" will be given by Professor Mike Phillips, who has published approximately 100 academic outputs. These include books, book chapters, journal articles and reports. He will present answers to the why, what, when and how questions frequently asked with respect to publishing research.

 

Professor Mike Phillips holds a Ph.D. in landscaping science (geomorphology).

 

The introduction is open to all. There is no entry fee.

 

Mike Phillips now teaches the course CMM02 Physical Processes of the Coastal and Marine Environment. This is the third time he visits the West Fjords to teach the course.

 

By giving the introduction without charge, Mike wishes to support the foundations for publishable research in the area.
