The autumn semester final exams are now underway as can clearly be seen on the hallways of the University Centre. The exam period began on November 30 and will conclude on December 18. Distance learning students from most universities in Iceland will take over 200 exams at the University Centre during this period. A growing number of students also take their exams in Hólmavík, on the east coast of the Westfjords and in Patreksfjörður on the south coast of the peninsula. This is made possible with the cooporative effort by UW and the Westfjords Adult Learning Centre that operates facilities in these villages.
