In cooperation with the University Centre and Ísafjarðarbær Municipality, The University of Iceland is interested in offering better access to the distance learning program for a diploma in Preschool teacher education in the Westfjords. The cooperation will be focused on bringing teachers to Ísafjörður to teach for sessions and therefore reduce the number of times that students need to travel to Reykjavík for sessions. In addition to this Ísafjarðarbær Municipality will assist their staff members in attending the studies.
