CMM Student Interviewed in Landinn TV Show
Last night the TV program Landinn, which mostly covers rural subjects, followed the topic of how the harbors around Iceland are receiving new roles due to the fact that less fish is unshipped. The harbor of Ísafjörður was the main topic of the program, especially in light of ideas that have risen from the work of a committee organized by Ísafjörður municipality about the future plans for Pollurinn in Ísafjörður harbor. Coastal and Marine Management student Maik Brötzmann was interviewed on the program about his master's project which explores the feasibility for Ísafjörður harbor to set up servicing facilities for yachts, sailboats and other recreational boats. Ásgerður Þorleifsdóttir, who has a seat on the committee and Sigurður Jónsson, a sailboat captain at Borea Adventures, were also interviewed.
