CMM Alumni: Success in the Job Market

In the coming months, a few success stories of our alumni will be made available on our website.


The first graduate is Lindsay Church. Prior to her studies at the CMM program, Lindsay obtained a BCD degree in Community Design (Honours) and Environmental Planning at Dalhousie University, Canada.


Lindsay lived in Ísafjörður for almost two years, from 2009-2011, and did her thesis on effectiveness of sustainable tourism in Snæfellsnes, Iceland. She graduated with an MRM degree in Coastal and Marine Management in 2011.


Lindsay Church recently started a new job with the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada as a land use planner. On her first day on the job, based on her MRM degree, she was appointed a division representative for the Provincial Coastal and Ocean Network (PCON).
