Mr. Daníel Freyr Jónsson, Administrator of Exams and Distance Learning at the University of Akureyri visited the University Centre today. The University Centre and the University of Akureyri have worked together for a number of years now, especially regarding distance learning and the master's program in Coastal and Marine Management.

A number of students studying at the University of Akureyri attend all lectures at the University Centre via Video Conferencing.

Although most of the teaching and other communication between the two institutions is done through the Internet, or via Video Conference, it is always good to meet collaborators in person. The University Centre would like to thank Mr. Daníel Freyr Jónsson for his visit today and for the collaboration the past years.
