In 2010 the University Centre of the Westfjords celebrates its five year anniversary. It has been an eventful year for the University Centre, but it can be said that the highlights of the year so far are two graduations. The first preparatory program students graduated in January from Reykjavík University and the first master's students graduated from the University of Akureyri in June.

In connection to the master's graduation the University Centre published a booklet in English and Icelandic which gives an overview of its operations the past five years. This booklet is now available in pdf format here on the website.
