A Course on Coastal Planning
Planning of Coastal and Marine Regions is now ongoing in the masters program in Coastal and Marine Management. The course instructor is Dr. Patricia Manuel, Associate Professor at Dalhousie University in Canada. This is the second time Dr. Manuel teaches this course at the University Centre. It can safely be said that a strong tie has been formed between the University Centre and Dalhousie University since other instructors from the Canadian university have taught at the University centre and quite a few of our students have completed their undergraduate degree there.
The course Planning of Coastal and Marine Regions will be concluded at the end of next week, followed by the course Communicating Climate Change and Sustainable Development, taught by Dr. Guðni Elísson a professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Iceland.
