The Development Fund for Immigration Issues open for applications

The Immigration Board announces that they are open for applications for grants from the Development Fund for Immigration Issues for the year 2009. The Fund's purpose is to enhance research and development projects in the field of immigration issues with the goal of facilitating mutual adjustment between immigrants and Icelandic society.

The closing date for applications is 15. January 2010. For more information please follow this link.

The Development Fund for Immigration Issues was founded in 2007 by the Ministry of Social Affairs and this is the third time that grants are being allotted. The administration of the fund is partly in the hands of the University Centre of the Westfjords.
