Symposium: Long Term Policy Making for Living Resources of the Ocean

A symposium on long term policy making for living resources of the ocean will be held by the Marine Research Institute of Iceland and the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries at Hótel Loftleiðir in Reykjavík on Friday February 25 between 9:00 and 16:20.

Fourteen talks will be given and amongst the two by foreign guests. Steve Murawsky from NOAA in the United States will talk about the experience in the US regarding long term fisheries policy and Paul Dengbol from the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea will discuss fisheries policy for the North Atlantic.
