Atvest, the economic development agency for the Westfjords, is offering circa 4 grants of 1 million ISK issued to companies or institutions in the Westfjords to hire a recent graduate students to work on an innovation or development project for the company/institution. The applicant (company/institution) should award at least the same amount in the form of salary and wage related expenses for the staff (graduate).

Innovation: New or substantially improved commerce/services. This can also apply to new methods in trade with commerce, new ways in marketing and other innovations.

The graduate student: Must have graduated in the past 12 months.

Application deadline: May 14, 2014.
